My adult daughter and I like to find hidden gems and we were set on a mission to find the Mad Mao after reading about it in a airline magazine. It was located near our hotel but downtown Bangkok can be a mystery when it comes to finding a little place like this. Our driver was determined as we were, to our surprise! I wish I new the name of the chef and bar tender but he was terrific. The food deeeliciouse - we shared plates and had mushroom quesadillas, garlic fries and a burger. The highlight was the beer and my tiki cocktail of rum and pomegranate! Amazing! Highly recommend this little place! We wanted to find a unique quality of food and drink that would please our foodie desire we found it here!

I live in Bangkok and have seen many reviews of this place online, in BK Magazine, etc. We needed Google maps to find the place the first time, but i am so glad we did. This place has the best gourmet burgers I have ever tasted in my life. Juicy, delicious and really high quality ingredients. There&#39;s a cool vibe to the place also. They&#39;ve got some beers I have never seen before that are amazing and I can&#39;t say enough good things about the place.

Tiny, intimate restaurant, nice ambient with good music (not too loud), excellent cocktails, small but good menu with delicious salads; the hot dog was yummy, and the service friendly for a very low price. I will go back.....
